The fact that it is only marketing at women and there are few success stories on the website is a sign that it really doesn’t really do a whole lot. There is a list of ingredients on the site that you can look up. None of them have any information to back up their claims of decreasing your appetite and increasing your metabolism.

Here is a quote you might not have seen from the bottom of the page. “The Pink Patch is a diet free way to lose weight. However, all successful weight loss programs should include a sensible low fat, low calorie meal plan and an exercise program to be completely effective.” Basically meaning as far as losing weight the patch only gives your a shot of caffeine, some anti-depressants (guarrana and 5-HTP), and other weird herbal remedys that havn’t shown to do much.

Here is a wikipedia article on what 5-HTP is

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5-HTP

It has not been proven at all to reduce appetite and speed up your metabolism, but the anti-depressents may help you feel good and avoid eating in times of stress.

If you feel like you are always stressed out, and tired and that is why you eat, you could consider this, but diet and exercise is what is going to make you lose weight, not a magical remedy.

Like you, I think they sound great but would be too worried about side-effects to try them.
